There is a fulcrum, resistance, and effort in every lever. Using this system to remember, whichever is in the middle, tells you which class lever it is. For instance, if you knew that the fulcrum and resistance were on the ends, at that the effort was in the middle, you know that it's a 3RD Class Lever.
